The film is an emotional drama based on the generations who have suffered ]he divide families following the partition of India and Pakistan in 1947.

Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya is an upcoming Punjabi Movie starring Inderjeet Nikku, Daljeet Kaur, Shakti Kapoor, Mohammad Sadiq and Sana Khan (pakistani actress) with the special appearances of Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt.
