Others are kept in quarantine to complete their 14 days isolation period.Yesterday 600 people- different from 700 cases- tested negative after spending 14 days & sent to their homes. As more people complete their 14 day isolation periods in the days to come and test negative they will be sent home. These pilgrims from Taftan are in quarantine and not roaming in the society. They are not roaming in the society- they are contained in 6 quarantines On the other hand thousands of Pakistanis have come back in the last 3 weeks from KSA Europe UK UAE Turkey USA etc through airports- they did not undergo any tests and are roaming freely in society, transmitting virus to others. Tableeghi Ijtima has led to many cases. 1st death Was of a person from Mardan who had come from Umrah, 12th death is of lady from Dir who had also come from Umrah; 2nd death was of a person who had come back from Turkey via Dubai. Rawalpindi’s first death was of a lady who had returned from UK. Other deaths have been due to Local transmission- as Karachi just announced 2 deaths due to Tableeghi ijtima taking country’s total toll to 18. Only one death has been of a pilgrim from Taftan who was a lady in quarantine in D I KHan but she was in D I Khan quarantine and not meeting people in society. Please understand that it is misleading to say that Taftan pilgrims are spreading virus in society. Those pilgrims are in quarantine in 6 cities and not meeting people from outside. Majority , 84% cases as mention by Dr Fahad Mirza PMIK health spokesperson are from Irani spread. Even a kid knows in Pakistan that whole Sindh spread is due to Irani zaireen.

All returnees were “quarantined” together in reportedly squalid conditions at a camp in Taftan after crossing the border into Pakistan in remote Baluchistan. There was no testing, and those with symptoms were not isolated. Instead of containing the virus to those who had it, it spread to others at the camp, and people at the camp were also allowed to leave to shop at markets in the town. After two weeks, they were “returned” to their provinces. It is unclear what precautions were taken as they traveled, but they were tested by the provincial governments once they arrived, and those who tested positive were re-quarantined at centers created in those provinces. Rise in the number of coronavirus positive cases in Pakistan was confirmed by Murtaza Wahab, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Sindh. Wahab called the increase in coronavirus positive cases an "exponential increase" in a tweet. "Total number of ppl affected by corona virus in Sindh has reached 146. Out of this, 119 are Zaireen who are being kept in Sukkur, 26 are in Khi & 1 is in Hyd. This exponential increase is largely due to the recent inflow of ppl brought in from Taaftaan after a purported quarantine. "
