Here's small comparison of the strike rates and average of current experienced Pakistani all-rounder in both odi and t20. I highly doubt that any Pakistani player is selected because of his good form. All the team has been selected on the basis of previous performance. Then why not Razzaq??? Razzaq is better player and fighter then not only Afridi and Hafiq also some others like SHoab malik, Misbah, etc but he is out for some other favorites of selectors

It would be more interesting if you take their numbers for the last 5-6 years only. Razzaq's bowling fell away big time. He struggles to bowl 10 overs in the ODIs. Due to this he cant play in the team as a bowler. As a batsman despite his flamboyance, he is not consistent enough to play as a batsman. This makes him a bits and pieces player who disturbs the balance of the team. Afridi's bowling has deteriorated in the last year or so but before that he was one of the frontline spinners in the team who would consistently bowl his 10 overs to good effect. This meant that he could play in the side as a bowler and the batting was just a bonus. Same with Hafeez.

In T20 A Razzaq must be included and given chance to bat in top order. This guy is superb. If some one thinks he is not fit, fitness test could be taken but it not fair to ignore this guy. He still got 2 year cricket left. HE IS far better player than MALIK and AFRIDI.

Afridi and Hafiz are consistent in only one thing lately, and that is consistent chances in the playing eleven. And on the other hands Razzaq was not. If you measure players consistency with the average then Razzaq is by far more consistent than the rest of two. (not chance wise though)

Razak was kicked out from county cricket for his laziness. His pace has gone done considerable and batting is not good either. We should kick out these 3 players and find new young allrounders.

I am talking about current Allrounders not Retired ones. And my logic is simple mate. Afridi and Hafiz are not selected because of their good form. But their previous performance. Everyone knows Hafiz current form with both bat and bowl in Champions trophy And Afridi was kicked out because of his form. And age wise Razzaq is only a year older than afridi & Hafiz.
