As far as I know, 111 brigade is not responsible for the protection of Prime Minister of Pakistan, may be it is for military rulers like Zia and Musharraf but not for the Civilian Prime Ministers. Protection of PM is with CSO, (Chief Security Officer) who is usually from Police Service of Pakistan

Read General Shahid Aziz's book. He categorically said that coup of 1999 had nothing to do with General Musharaf responding to sacking. Army Top had already decided to remove Nawaz because of looming threat of investigation of Kargil Blunder
