Having an opinion is everyone's right. However, it should be based on facts & figures.
Ok let’s talk about facts. How many times a week did imran khan do interviews with different anchors ? Was any of them taken off air? And if your counter is that if a criminal is allowed to be on tv ? You should ask this question to yourself first, how many cases did IMRAN khan have ? Including attacking SSP Islamabad police,PTV attack, and including a 7ata in anti terrorism court. Jahangir Tareen is a convict doing press conference. He is convicted under article 62 f 1 meaning a certified lier. I am sure you will have a logical answer

Imran Khan had cases against him but that does not make him a convict.
Maryam is a convict, meaning she has been proved a criminal & sentenced.
There is a huge difference.
Jahangir Tareen has been disqualified but not convicted. Even NS had media interaction after disqualification but not after conviction.
This is your problem. You try to mix things based on technicalities. There is huge difference between filing an FIR against someone & a conviction after an actual trial.

The way you are going, soon you are going to start asking where does it say you cannot interview a criminal whose name is "Maryam".
First of all, when you interview a criminal, you ARE glorifying them. All criminals do not get that chance. Why anyone particular? Specially when you do not interview them about their crime but everything else.
Secondly, as claimed by you, there is no clause that forbids the interview of a person under investigation.
If Ishaq Dar was not guilty, he would not be an absconder from his own country. He should present his case in court first & then on TV. He is wanted by the state.

Not really. Shehbaz Sharif is the former CM & the current administration has every right to tell the public about his performance. No slander there.

So rules change here ok then explain Asif Ali zardari and Ishaq Dar Hussan and hussain ?

Insaaf4Tyrain

Chief Minister (5k+ posts)
No, the rules do not change.
All of these personalities have references against them. They have to appear in court & explain themselves.
But they are taken off air ? and there is no rule that says they can not be interviewed ?

There is a rule which forbids the channels to glorify crime & criminals. One must present oneself in front of the law. You do that & not give interviews in the media. Once you are cleared by the courts, then you can give as many interviews as you want.
