After Nawaz Sharif’s release on medical ground, 10,000 sick prisoners request for bail in Lahore High Court.

لاہور ہائیکورٹ نےسابق وزیراعظم محمد نواز شریف کی طبی بنیادوں پر رہائی کے بعد10 ہزار بیمار قیدیوں کی رہائی کی درخواست چیف سیکریٹری پنجاب کو بھجوا دی۔

لاہور ہائیکورٹ کے جسٹس رسال حسن سید نے عوام دوست پارٹی کے انجینئر محمد الیاس کی درخواست پر سماعت کی۔


درخواست گزار نے نشاندہی کی کہ ملک بھر کی جیلوں میں مختلف بیماریوں میں مبتلا 10 ہزار سے زائد قیدی سزا کاٹ رہے ہیں، جبکہ جیلوں میں علاج معالجےکی مناسب سہولیات بھی میسر نہیں ہیں۔

ان کا درخواست میں کہنا تھا کہ آئین کے تحت تمام شہری برابر ہیں اور ان سے امتیازی سلوک نہیں برتا جاسکتا لہذا عدالت سے استدعاہے کہ نواز شریف کی طرح دیگر بیمار قیدیوں کو بھی رہا کرنے کاحکم دیا جائے۔

عدالت نے درخواست چیف سیکریٹری پنجاب کو بھجوا تے ہوئے ہدایت کی کہ درخواست گزار کا مؤقف سن کر قانون کے مطابق فیصلہ کیا جائے۔

This is what happens when kangroo courts favor sharifs. The only reason Nawaz sharif was disqualified is because if he was acquitted, dozens of previously disqualified mnas and mpas would have filed appeal against their disqualification on the same grounds as nawaz sharif was acquited.

Equally accountable are the governments.

Although many patients are sicker than NS they may not be able to afford lawyers for a health-grounds bail. The government promised such lawyers in their manifesto and let them have these lawyers.

And there must be many prisoners among them who would wanna go abroad for treatment too, let the Government take all their names off ECL, if any, likewise!

Yar Pakistan maen corruption ko regularise karna chahie.... sharif logon ko maloom nahi hota ke rishwat kahan deni haen aur muft maen zaleel ho rahe hote haen..
