frankly speaking i don't know what is jehad . i have heard on tv muslims yelling jehad on kafirs so i think jehad means war on non muslims .
Jihad has several types. Jihad means struggle. Taking care of your parents is jihad. Standing up to oppression is jihad. And engaging in war is Jihad.
But the war needs to declared between an established Muslim authority like the PM of a country and even in war, you're only allowed to kill military people ie people fighting with you. Any civilians, kids, women, elder people, trees and people who don't want to engage in war, they're off limits and you can't hurt them.
Jihad doesn't mean war on non-Muslims or killing Kafir. That's a commom misconception. Jihad is simply another word for war. If some country invades your country and a war is declared, that's Jihad. Is there anything wrong with defending your country?
So the terrorists blowing up innocents even if they're kafir in a peaceful country are terrorists and nothing more. They're not doing Jihad. Do you know Islamic scholars have called suicide bombings unislamic and haram? Muslims hate ISIS and terrorists more than anyone because they give badname to Islam.
You should study Islam for yourself and don't believe what you hear on TV. I don't believe every Hindu is a rapist or a murderer like they show on TV and social media.
There are good people and bad people. Religion only teaches good.
