اسلام آباد: وزیراعظم عمران خان نے قوم کو انتظار کرنے کا مشورہ دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ سمندر میں ڈرلنگ کا عمل ابھی جاری ہے، جلد گیس کا بڑا ذخیرہ ملے گا۔

وزیراعظم نے قوم کو دلاسہ دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ قوم ایک ہفتہ انتظار کرے، جلد خوشخبری ملے گی۔

یاد رہے کہ کیکڑا ون بلاک میں تیل اور گیس کی تلاش کا منصوبہ ناکامی کا شکار ہوگیا ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق ابتدائی نتائج کے مطابق تیل اور گیس کے کوئی ذخائر نہ مل سکے۔

کیکڑا ون نے 5470 میٹر گہرائی تک ڈرلنگ کی تھی، اس منصوبے پر 10 کروڑ 13 لاکھ ڈالر لاگت آچکی ہے۔

تاہم وزارت پیٹرولیم نتائج پر سرکاری رد عمل دینے سے گریزاں ہے۔ وزارت پیٹرولیم کا کہنا ہے کہ کیکڑا ون کے بارے میں مصدقہ اطلاعات نہیں، حتمی نتیجے تک انتظار کیا جائے۔

ذرائع کے مطابق اس حوالے سے مکمل رپورٹ ایک ہفتے میں تیار کی جائے گی۔

Pakistan should go of Chinese companies for Oil&Gas.Minerals search also Russian companies.they have very large experience in Gas.. We must stay away from Jews back US and European companies..I remembered..few years back.. Egypt discovered world largest Gas reserves...Can any one tell me where Egypt economy stand with out the help of KSA..ME Countries and USA??
Gov must up grade OGDC capability in search of Oil&Gas.. Minerals...

It is obvious that there was no hydrocarbons in the well but when all rock tests are conducted, the results may show that oil reserves are not far from the well and then they can decide to drill a new well again next year.
Don't forget India found oil in the Mumbai waters after 40 wells, and as Norwegian ambassador said yesterday, that Norway found offshore oil after 35 drillings.

Shahid bhahi this drilling is not as simple as shore or land drilling. Total cost of drilling was 30 Billion out of which 16 billion was paid by government of Pakistan. Will Pakistan and company will take any risk again especially when first test was total failure. Drilling has stopped and holes are capped/closed now.

Awan bhai, total cost was budgeted at about USD 100 million ( about 16 billion rupees) and not 60 billion rupees as you make of it. It has costed Pakistan petroleum and OGDC 25 million USD each.. Nothing of the cost is paid by the government of Pakistan through national budget as both Pakistan petroleum and OGDC are profit earning entities who make billions of rupees in profit every year.
