A 13-member delegation of Pakistani journalists and intellectuals departed for China on Sunday for a five-day visit to the capital Beijing and Shanghai.
The tour is organised by ‘Understanding China’, which is contributing to the promotion of Pakistan-China bilateral relations.
The delegation will be meeting with top leaders of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and will also interact with Chinese journalists. During their stay, the delegation will be briefed on Pak-China relations and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The delegation includes Sohail Warraich, Haroon-ur-Rasheed, Irshad Arif, Habib Akram, Salim Bukhari, Nazir Laghari, Khusnood Ali Khan, Mujahid Barelvi, Bazad Khan, Shoaib Bin Aziz, Aamir Khan, Zafar-ud-Din Mehmood, and Mansoor Aafaq.
Talking to media at Lahore airport, the delegation said: “We would present our best wishes to Chinese people and their leadership, as Pak-China friendship is deeper than the Arabian Ocean and higher than the Himalaya”

Media houses put forward their own nominees. This is a non-governmental venture.
One thing you have to acknowledge that Nawaz Sharif had his favored journos who he took along wherever he went...and on the flipside, IK doesnt care much for this.

If you checked last five years Nawaz abroad visits....along with Nawaz own Tabbar.. there are some confirmed journalists who always with his wish list on every visist..I think IK didn't care or consuilt to made this list..It's might be sole worked of Smart Fawad Ch..If I guess correct..Sohail Wariach..Habib Akram like confirm patwari also included..while Salim Bukhari is nothing now..

Many of the remaining jerks will be part of the PM entourage.
Hope they are directed to travel at their media organizations expense taking regular commercial flights. NOT alongside the PM on Pak One.
