There is lot of misinformation being spread about Kargill.
Fact is that Musharraf duffer ne hamaray bohot jawanoo ko shaheed karwaa dia and NS did a favor to get that war stopped. Infact he went to amreeka on fouj's request.

We did occupy the high grounds in the kargill but then india started to use some really heavy heavy artillery and jets that caused a lot of damage and something that duffer musharraf did not expect.

I think your info is incomplete. Karhil was empty mountains abandoned in winter by Indians and Pak army too control in winter and then war started.
