Muslims must perform Eid al-Fitr prayers at home: Al-Azhar
Al-Azhar Fatwa
Al-Azhar’s Senior Scholar Authority on Sunday has decreed that, owing to the coronavirus pandemic, all Muslims must perform the Eid al-Fitr prayers at home either alone or with their families.

The authority stressed that the purpose of Islamic Sharia law is to protect people, which is the reason behind this order to pray at home.

Azhar’s statement called on all Muslims worldwide to pray to god this Ramadan to hasten the swift end of this pandemic, while working to do good deeds and charity to the sick and poor.

The Ministry of Endowments will broadcast Eid al-Fitr prayers and the “takbeerat al-Eid” , which is the utterance of “God Is Great” several times before and after Eid al-Fitr prayer, through TV and radio, Minister of Endowments Mohammed Mokhtar Gomaa said.

Gatherings will not be allowed during Eid al-Fitr Day, Gomaa stressed, and added during a cabinet meeting on Sunday that his ministry will prepare a plan for Eid al-Fitr day.

The coronavirus pandemic has even impacted religious aspects of life, with Egypt’s various religious bodies ordering changes in worship to help curb the outbreak.

Earlier this month Azhar Mosque announced that prayers at the mosque during the last ten days of Ramadan will be performed without public attendance, instead being broadcast on the mosque’s official Facebook and YouTube pages.

The mosque stressed that Muslims must pray at home and adhere to the Ministry of Health’s coronavirus guidelines.

Back in March, Egypt’s Religious Endowments Ministry issued an order to halt Friday prayers and congregational prayers, closing all mosques and their attachments.

“The decision is based on the requirements of national and Islamic interest in the necessity of preserving people,” the ministry’s statement said.

Also in March, Al-Azhar’s Grand Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayyeb suspended Friday prayers and congregation prayers at the Azhar Mosque as part of measures against the novel coronavirus.

البتہ ایک بات قابل غور ہے کہ جو لوگ سعودیہ سے آئی بات کو حرف آخر سمجھ رہے ہیں، وہ ترکی ڈراموں بارے عربی موقف کا احترم نہیں کرتے۔ کڑوا کڑوا تھو۔​

پہلے حکومت نماز کی اجازت دے کر لوگوں پر احسان کر رہی تھی، اب اجازت دے کر خود پر احسان کرے گی۔ حکومت نے اپنی دوغلی پالیسی کی وجہ سے اپنی کریڈیبلٹی کو دائو پر لگا دیا ہے۔​

سرکاری مفتیوں کا فتوی دین سے ذیادہ شاہوں کی خواہش کے تابع ہوتا ہے۔ بہرحال علماء کا اختلاف اپنی جگہ۔ جو گھر میں پڑھنا چاہے گھرمیں پڑھ لے، اور جو جماعت کے ساتھ پڑھنا چاہے وہ جماعت کروا لے۔ ہر مفتی کو اپنا موقف بیان کرنے کا حق حاصل ہے۔

سعودیہ والے تو ترکوں سے ویسے ہی خواہ مخواہ کا بیر رکھتے ہیں؟
اب اس میں کیا؟ باقی ترکی ڈرامہ تو محظ ایک ڈرامہ ہے....جس میں
کچھ حقیقت اور کچھ افسانہ ہوگا تو کسی بھی فضول بحث کا فایدہ؟

دوربین لیے چاند کے شکار کو نکلے...ہاہا کبھی غور کیا سب نے موٹے شیشوں والی
عینکیں پہنی ہوئی جنکا شیشوں کا نمبر بھی کبھی کسی نے چک نہ کروایا ہو جب سے
خریدی گی ہوں؟ ہاہا انہیں تو چدھویں کا چاند بھی نظر نہ اہے ..یہ بال سے بھی پتلا
پہلی کا چاند دیکھ سکیں گے؟ جو صرف دکھتا ہی چند منٹوں کے لیے ہے؟ جب تک
مفتی اپنی دوربین سیٹ کرنے میں کامیاب ہوتے ہیں چاند غائب ہو چکا ہوتا ہے.
اس سے اچھا وہ پشوری مولوی نہیں جو دوربینوں کے چکر میں نہیں پڑتا؟ .. کوئی بھی
چھکا پنجا آکر کہ دے ہاں میں نے چند دیکھا ہے تو فورا" عید کا اعلان کر دیتے ہیں...
ہاہا گواہ سے یہ بھی نہیں پوچھتے کہ بھی تم نے آج رات ہی چاند دیکھا ہے ناں ؟
کہیں دو چار مہینے پہلے تو نہیں؟
ہاہا بلکل اس بندے کی طرح جس سے پولیس والے نے، جو ایک بھاگتے چور کا پیچھا کر رہا تھا ،
پوچھا ...بھی صاھب ! کیا آپ نے ایک بھاگتے چھوڑ کو دیکھا ہے؟ تو بولا، ہاں جی دیکھا ہے
پولیس والے نے خوش ہوکر پوچھا ...کتنی دیر ہوئی ؟ تو بندے نے جواب دیا،...جی کوئی دو مہینے ہوے .

حدیث مبارکہ جب صرف بارش اورکیچڑ کی وجہ سے جمعہ کی فرض نماز کے وقت لوگوں کو آذان کے الفاظات کے ذریعے گھروں میں نماز پڑھنے کا حکم دیا گیا ، عید کی نماز تو فرض بھی نہیں ہے ،جب خالی بارش اور کیچڑ کی وجہ سے لوگوں کو گھر میں پڑھنے کا حکم ملا ، یہاں تو اپنی ، فیملی اور ساتھ کھڑے اشخاص کی زندگی دائو پے لگانے کے برابر ہے

اللہ ﷻ مجھے معاف فرمائے کہیں یے فترانہ کٹھے کرنے کاطریقہ تو نہیں ؟

Chapter: Talking during the Adhan باب الْكَلاَمِ فِي الأَذَانِ
وَتَكَلَّمَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ فِي أَذَانِهِ.

وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ لاَ بَأْسَ أَنْ يَضْحَكَ وَهْوَ يُؤَذِّنُ أَوْ يُقِيمُ.
ہم سے مسدد بن مسرہد نے بیان کیا ، کہا کہ ہم سے حماد بن زید نے ایوب سختیانی اور عبدالحمید بن دینار صاحب الزیادی اور عاصم احول سے بیان کیا ، انھوں نے عبداللہ بن حارث بصریٰ سے ، انھوں نے کہا کہ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے ایک دن ہم کو جمعہ کا خطبہ دیا ۔ بارش کی وجہ سے اس دن اچھی خاصی کیچڑ ہو رہی تھی ۔ مؤذن جب «حى على الصلاة‏» پر پہنچا تو آپ نے اس سے «الصلاة في الرحال‏» کہنے کے لیے فرمایا کہ لوگ نماز اپنی قیام گاہوں پر پڑھ لیں ۔ اس پر لوگ ایک دوسرے کو دیکھنے لگے ۔ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ اسی طرح مجھ سے جو افضل تھے ، انھوں نے بھی کیا تھا اور اس میں شک نہیں کہ جمعہ واجب ہے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، وَعَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، صَاحِبِ الزِّيَادِيِّ وَعَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ خَطَبَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فِي يَوْمٍ رَدْغٍ، فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ حَىَّ عَلَى الصَّلاَةِ‏.‏ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُنَادِيَ الصَّلاَةُ فِي الرِّحَالِ‏.‏ فَنَظَرَ الْقَوْمُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ فَقَالَ فَعَلَ هَذَا مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ وَإِنَّهَا عَزْمَةٌ‏.‏

Once on a rainy muddy day, Ibn `Abbas delivered a sermon in our presence and when the Mu'adhdhin pronounced the Adhan and said, "Haiyi `ala-s-sala(t) (come for the prayer)" Ibn `Abbas ordered him to say 'Pray at your homes.' The people began to look at each other (surprisingly). Ibn `Abbas said. "It was done by one who was much better than I (i.e. the Prophet (ﷺ) or his Mu'adh-dhin), and it is a license.'
