ADB is financing the project and is satisfied with the progress so far.

Only disaster was Khattak giving an unrealistic deadline in election year.

Also, its different from Orange Train. It includes plazas etc. No subsidies.

ADB is not giving you aid they are giving you loan which has to be repaid with interest. The disaster is not the infinite time it is taking but rather the wastage of money.
Peshawar is 5 times smaller than lahore and doesnt need such mega project. Such a huge amount of money can have much better utilization. Developing industry in kpk, developing mining business, connecting far flung areas, investing in agriculture and million other things that could have been done for much better outcome

Why! they were not Farishtay,,, they were more corrupted than PTI. That is why People gave the vote to PTI for change. If everything same even worse ( pls check State bank report for last 4 years)
When PMLN starts Lahore Islamabad motorway, after Lahore - Karachi there could be corruption involved, but this means that there should no such project, this is wrong. These kinds of projects are very important for any country's economy. but transparency also very important. Even I am in favor of BRT, but it should be started in 2018 as per planning. Now, this should investigate why delay and due to delay cost is double.
Motorways, bridges and public transport is a lifeline for any country's economy like any other projects. For this, I can give an example of China, Canada, USA, Singapore, Korea Malaysia, and Dubai.
China is amazing they build motorways and bridges even in small cities.

Every major urban center needs a reliable public transport system. It's much more than buses. KP govt will earn revenue by renting or selling shops in plazas that are part of the project.

If the project is sustainable, I don't mind.
