Govt of Pakistan signs a 10 year long term LNG deal with Qatar at 10.2% slope of Brent with an option of price renegotiation after 4 years. Currently for 2 cargoes then 3 cargoes for 1 year and then 4 cargoes from 2024 onward.​

This is a new contract not the re-negotiated one.​

PMLN's long term deal with Qatar was at 13.37% slope for 15 years. Qatar will supply 6 cargoes per month, 72 cargoes a year.​

Pakistan has signed two more contracts:​

The Gunvor contract, which runs for five years to June 2022, is priced at 11.62% of Brent -- or about $7.42 per million Btu according to Bloomberg calculations using the average of November to January.​

The Eni contract, which runs for 15 years to 2032, is priced at 11.6247% for the first two years, 11.95% for the following two years, then 12.14% for the remaining 11 years, according to one of the people. Both deals are for one cargo per month. 12 cargoes a year.​

Compared with these deals the new deal is much smaller in quantity. ​

then why we have now in contract that we can look into price after few years rather than 10 years. Other question is if maryam can go to qatar for a letter, how come from 2016 and afterward pmln didnt try to lower the prices?IK kept requesting qatar to look into this and qatri now made new deal. why didnt pmln go for this?

and last who is responsible for $ billions lost due to 2016 deal

Slope was fixed but Brent price was fixed higher the Brent price higher the LNG price, lower the Brent price lower the LNG price.

the agreement was locked for 10 years on 13.3% price...that was majore loss
