I have been saying the same thing..They let IK win 2018 election because Miftah Ismael told Bajwa before2018 election that we don't want to come in power again because whoever come in power will have to take tough decisions. The only thing that they made sure was to not let IK win enough seats to make a govt without coalition. If 2018 elections were fair and free, IK would have easily won 200+ seats but alas the election was rigged to make sure even if IK win then he does not get sufficient seats. Then when Bajwa got extension in Aug 2019, things started. In end of Nov 2019, NS was let go. The initial plan was in 4-6 months IK will be removed from govt and NS will come back as a victor. But in Feb 2020, Covid-19 happened that delayed the whole plan by almost two years.
