It was a Government mistake to reduce prices this much.

Government should have focussed on its fiscal deficit for only two months.

Everyone was aware that oil prices will rise sharply since major oil production cut was in progress in OPEC and other oil producing countries.

Government should have provided a relief but not this much. Now Government is facing the outcomes of hastily thought decisions.

Now oil prices will further jump and may be reach a level of 60 or 70 USD per barrel in next two or three months.

But in any case, but baba has lost its credibility and now he is using cheap tactics to keep himself relevant. Since he is not able to get enough advertisement funds for its newly joined channel. Soon he will be thrown out from this channel as well.

I have never seen an increase of 33% in price of petrol overnight , this is unprecedented.

Though the question is that why was the price reduced so much ? India and bangladesh were selling at twice the rate and yet pakistan chose to bring the price to a level as if we were oil producing country. The price of 100 is justified at the moment but the increase in price all of a sudden is unjustified. I think the government should think a lot before making any decision , jazbaat mein aaker ek dam price nahin kam kerni cnahye thi.

The government should collect its taxes but should also make sure that that the oil companies in pakistan are not earning undue profit.

prices were reduced to help the masses, look at the countries around you, how much is their price? the funds which were given to poor, where did it come from? the economy was shut down for a long time? you have to look at these things, how much relief is given to masses? the balance sheet has to be kept close to +.

When the Awam does not pay taxes, retrieve taxes in other ways.
