طیارے حادثہ: پی آئی اے کا فلائٹ آپریشنز کنٹرول سسٹم تبدیل کرنے کا فیصلہ

کراچی: کراچی طیارے حادثہ کے بعد پی آئی اے نے فلائٹ آپریشنز کنٹرول سسٹم تبدیل کرنے کا فیصلہ کر لیا، ترکی کی کمپنی سے اسٹیٹ آف دی آرٹ سسٹم سے منسلک نیا نظام حاصل کیا جائے گا۔

پی آئی اے ذرائع نے دنیا نیوز کو بتایا کہ پی آئی اے پرانے فلائٹ آپریشنز کنٹرول سسٹم کو جدید اسٹیٹ آف دی آرٹ سسٹم سے تبدیل کرنے جارہا ہے، جدید اور عالمی معیار کے مطابق فلائٹ آپریشنز کنٹرول سسٹم ترکی سے حاصل کیا جائے گا۔

جدید فلائٹ سسٹم سے پی آئی اے طیاروں کو حادثات سے بچانے میں بہت معاونت ملے گی، ذرائع کا کہنا تھا کہ اسٹیٹ آف دی آرٹ فلائٹ سسٹم سے پی آئی اے کی سروس ڈیلوری عالمی معیار کی ہو جائے گی۔

نیا فلائٹ آپریشن سسٹم آئی اے ٹی اے، انٹرنیشنل سول ایوی ایشن سے منظور شدہ ہوگا، جدید فلائٹ آپریشنز کنٹرول سسٹم سے پی آئی اے موجودہ صورتحال یکسر تبدیل ہوجائے گی، ترکی کی ہٹ آئی ٹی کمپنی سے فلائٹ آپریشنز کنٹرول سسٹم حاصل کیا جائے گا۔​

PIA need to build confidence of the people.

PIA need to focus towards higher standards of maintenance. Also PIA need to replace old fleets. Our aircrafts are very old, need to be replaced.

Confidence is good, but over confidence is extremely dangerous. In today's world of technology, only professional confidence is important.

Our people start thinking that they are all in all. We are not fighting war in civil life that we need to take risks. Risks are only good in war.

PIA simply needs to go and airports outsourced. I don’t understand our nation’s fascination with an airline instead of our health system etc. We should be standing by our health system just like people in the UK consider their NHS as a pride, not some silly business venture.

It is easy to say. PIA is mandatory service.
If every other airline can generate revenue then why not PIA.

Only keep professionals, PIA will rise. PIA need to expand its business model.

If some want everything outsourced then out source dollars for you as well.

I know it’s difficult for political reason. That’s the thing I am referring to. Why an organisation which has been making losses for most of its lifetime. Cannot we spend the money we pay every year to bail PIA our for essential services? An airline isn’t an essential service, in fact a very small proportion of people use air travel and there are numerous alternatives available.

I just do not understand why this fascination about an airline? Heathrow is considered one the busiest airports but it’s owned by a French company and not a British.

I didn’t say outsource PIA, simply scrap it.

Outsourcing isn’t always a bad thing. Apple outsources manufacturing of phones to China, in today’s world most of the successful softwares work through integration by offering different services which aren’t owned by them. Outsources brings in specialist expertise and talent.

It's not so much about business as it is about strategic importance. A national airline provides a lot of benefits in time of need.
PIA as an organization is fine. Our maintenance and hiring practices are shoddy. Outsourcing various operations is much better

The way PIA was treating overseas pakistanis. this was bound to happen. tickest 5 times as expensive . they were saying that half the flights were empty but I have been told they were at full capacity. they only reason they have blocked international flights was to make money. the only reason to force quranting international passengers was to make money. the say............................................Lalach Buri Bala

What’s strategic in a passenger airline?

In times of war, or catastrophes, national airline can be put to national service in some capacity without going through red tape. Private airline don't afford such luxury. Pakistan is in a location and situation where it needs such a fall back. If we have good relations with our neighbors, we will have enough confidence to let go of this baggage

I don’t understand the use of passenger airlines in times of war? What would it be used for?

That’s exactly my point. There is no such thing as strategic associated with an airline. Our elite do not want to give it away as they are the ones misusing it. Only a small number of people use the airline at the cost of millions of people.

Look at British airlines, it’s not owned by the government. Even the trains aren’t
