Usually Safi is biased however, I would agree with Safi here that KPK government was not active on this issue and they raised the issue when it was too late. Hopefully they have negotiated the right terms for the province. Every one is giving their version of this project, so not sure who is right and who is wrong.

lets talk about the real culprits here from PTI, Asad Umer and Quresshi.
I know many here are fan of Asad Umer, but I am not. I have tried to warn many times before. He is not what he pretends.
IF you analyse deeply, you would come to the conclusion that even on the economic matters, he does an odd press conference and then go to sleep for months. In the talk shows, he makes some brownie points to make fun and laugh, but he never get involved in serious discussions and adopt a policy which defeats the evil designs of PMLN.
If he had done so, it is piece of cake to take care of criminals like Ahsan Iqbal, Dr Tasdiq Malik etc, forget about them, now even Dhamal is presenting himself as an Economics maestro on the TV channels. Only yesterday that agent extraordinare Klasara in his program praising how good is Dhamal in talk shows.
Imran has to understand, he is fighting mega corrupt people who had been exploiting innocent and uneducated Pakistanis for decades. He needs smart, educated and dedicated people who are willing to do the hard work and take these crooks head on mercilessly, tirelessly and fearlessly. Nothing else would work.
As for Asad Umer, any one who thinks he is not aware what PMLN is up to should get their head examined. You think he doesn't talk to his brothers, who are both in PMLN?

Have you ever followed Asad Umer in the parliament? He has raised all these issues in the national assembly through bills, privileged motions, and speeches. Assembly is the only place where he can debate, get it on record, and make it a matter of law. He has pressed many unanswered issues through courts. Asad is the only guy who goes by the rule book, and beats PMLN at their own game, with their own words, on their own turf. The only sad part is that he is a one man army for now. Others need to step up their game and learn a thing or two from him.
Reason why clowns like Safi bark against Asad Umer and Imran in their columns is because they dont have the guts to call them in their show, as they know that guys like Asad Umer will throw the book at them, and they wont have a counter answer or counter logic. Columns are one sided attacks, with no fear of retribution or comeback.

اصل مبارک باد کی مستحق پاکستان کی تمام سیاسی قیادت ہے جس نے بالغ نظری کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے دوسری اے پی سی میں بد خواہوں کی طرف سے نا اتفاقی کے پھینکے جال کو توڑ کر ان کے مذموم ارادوں کو ناکام بنا دیا۔ سلام ہے پرویز خٹک،مولانا فضل الرحمان،افراسیاب خٹک،سراج الحق،محمود خان اچکزئی،قائم علی شاہ ،اختر مینگل،شیر پائو سمیت تمام پارٹیوں کی قیادت کو جنہوں نے اپنے تحفظات دور ہونے کی یقین دہانی پر اور سلام ہے حکمران جماعت کے لیڈروں کو جن نے ان تحفضات کو نیک نیتی سے دور کرکے محب وطن فرزندان زمیں ہونے کا ثبوت دیا اور بلا وجہ میں نہ مانوں کی رٹ نہیں لگائی۔ اس مثبت فیصلے سے سلیم صافی سمیت تمام ایسے افراد کو شدید تکلیف ہونا تو لازم تھا۔ اور وہ ہو رہی ہے۔ ان لوگوں نے بہت جدوجہد سے دیوار پر نا اتفاقی کا شیرہ لگایا تھا۔ جس کے رد عمل کے طور پر نا اتفاقی کا شور جس تیزی اور طاقت سے اٹھا تھا انہیں امید تھی کہ بس اب سر پھٹول شروع ہوا ہی سمجھو۔ یہ قوم باہم دست گریبان ہوگی تو ہی اس منصوبے کی ناکامی ہوگی۔ مگر ان کا یہ وار خالی گیا۔
یاد رکھنے والی بات یہ ہے کہ یہ ان طاقتوں کی طرف سے پہلی اور ٖآخری کاوش نہیں ہے۔ نت نئے منصوبے نت نئے مہروں کے ساتھ میداں میں آتے رہیں گے۔ لیکن ان سب کو قومی اتفاق سے اسی طرح ناکام بنانا ہوگا جیسے ایٹمی معاملے میں بھٹو صاحب کے شروع کئے کام کو اس کے بد ترین مخالف ضیا الحق، اس کے بعد غلام اسحاق خان،ان کے ذبردست مخالف بے نظیر، اور ان کے مخالف نواز شریف کے آنے جانے نےناکام نہیں بنایا تھا۔۔ قوم بمعہ لیڈر شپ تمام تر اختلافات کے باوجود اس بات پر متفق تھی کہ اپنی بقا کے ہمیں ایٹمی طاقت بننا ہی ہے۔ اور اللہ بزرگ و بر تر نے ہمیں سرفراز کیا۔
آج بھی بقول صافی، زرداری دور میں داغ بیل رکھے گئے، عبوری حکومت کے دور میں اس پر کام کو آگے بڑھنے والے اور نواز شریف دور میں اس خواب کی تکمیل شروع ہونے والے منصوبے کو اسی قومی اتفاق ہی سے کامیاب بنانے کے لئے ساری قوم کو ایک مٹھ ہونا ہوگا۔ آج نواز شریف ہے کل جانے کون ہوگا مگر اس منصوبے کو بھی ایٹمی منصوبے ہی کی مانند زندگی موت کا مسئلہ سمجھنا ہوگا۔ کہ اس کی کامیابی پر ہمارے غریب عوام کی معاشی زندگی میں بہت بہتری کی امید ہے۔
سلیم صافی نے کسی کا انٹرویو لیتے ہوئے اپنے بارے میں کہا تھا کہ اس نے ایک چھوٹا سا کاروبار کیا تھا لیکن کامیاب نہیں ہو سکا۔۔ایک ایسا شخص جو پرچون کی دکان چلانے کی استعداد نہیں رکھتا۔ ساری قومی قیادت کو نا اہل،نا عاقبت اندیش،بد نیت، اور نہ جانے کیا کیا کہہ کر اپنی اس ناکامی کا ماتم کر رہا ہےیہ پاکستان کی دوسری بڑی سیاسی جماعت پی ٹی آئی اور عمران خان پر مسلسل تنقید کرتا ہے۔ان کی ہر سیاسی چال کو مذاق اڑاتا ہے۔ شاہ محمود قریشی کو جنوبی پنجابی کہہ کر اسے پشتون دشمن گردانتا ہے۔ اسد عمر کو پٹھانوں کا مخالف دکھاتا ہے۔ یہ صرف پی ٹی آئی کے خلاف بغض نہیں رکھتا ،پنجاب اور پنجاب کی قیادت کو بھی مسلسل اپنے تیروں کی ذد میں رکھتا ہے۔ مزے کی بات تو یہ ہے کہ جن کی زندگیاں ہی قوم پرستی کی سیاست میں گذر گئیں ان پر بھی بک جانے یا آنکھ کے اشارے سے اپنا موقف بدل دینے جیسا غلیظ الزام لگانے سے بھی نہیں چوکتا۔
مایوسی کی انتہا پر جا کر یہ بد دعائیں دینے لگتا ہے۔ مگر کووں کی دعائوں سے بیل نہیں مرا کرتے۔ انہیں ایسا کرنا اور لکھنا ہی ہے۔ کارواں کا چلتے رہنا چاہئے،ایسی آوازیں سفر کھوٹا نہیں کر سکتیں،بشرط کہ ہم متحد رہے۔

O bhai, coming on TV screens having debates with Dhamal is of any use? If he is so effective, why Ahsan Iqbal and likes are winning? Why Safi is able to criticise him? And why are you forgetting the factor of his brothers?

Because Ahsan Iqbal's party is in power unlike Asad Umar's. We (PTI) only can protest or raise voice against any injustice.

Please check my comments again. I said that TV debates are just a one-upmanship contest. Only meaningful place is the assembly, where Asad Umer has taken more meaningful actions than anyone else. As for why he isnt winning...the answer is quite simple. The assembly has been rendered meaningless by the supposed simple majority of PMLN, and their refusal to even attend assembly sessions.
This exercise is not to 'win' arguments, as PMLN has a simple majority, and they can easily pass any bill, regardless. The exercise is to make the public aware of what PMLN is doing...to educate the public....

Bro, why are you contradicting yourself? One place you say the Parliament is rendered meaningless. on the other side you say he has raised it in the Parliament. In your own submission Asad is raising the issues in a meaningless forum.
No wonder he is losing the argument.
What PMLN goons are doing? They have a very clear chalked out strategy. They have created this atmosphere through the media, and through cronies like Ahsan Iqbal and Dhamal Chaudry that they are the experienced team, under their experienced team Pakistan is progressing and that the PTI's are just party poppers.
Whose responsibility it is to win the arguments where it matters?
Can't you see what PMLN does as soon as IK speak on a matter, they put all their crooks like Pervaiz Rasheed, Dhamal and Danial on him. They bark 24/7 in the media against IK. They don't go the Parliament.
I have never seen anyone effectively supporting IK in the media.
PTI representatives on the TV are mostly useless, without wits and strength of the arguments or arts of arguments.
