Thing is baba g gives good analysis, after all he has spent a lifetime in this field but his problem is he grown a personal dislike for Khan for whatever reason, so whenever it has anything to do with the govt or khan his views are extremely skewed and biased which has left him with very little credibility.

Chacha is an agent of Professor Rafique Akhtar. He was interested to play politics after IK's win. He wanted to get the CM Punjab selected out of his whims.

Now that his personal wishes are neglected by the PM, he took a U-turn.

The last nail in the coffin is this TLP problem. Actually this Chacha's pedestal is a backup from a religious group (Professor Rafique), and he has told him not to make himself controversial in this topic. Otherwise, not only both of them will loose their business, but can also be targeted by some one like Mumtaz Qadri. So right now, he is all frustrated and scared as well. This is his flight response. He is distancing himself from PTI.

A very good reply from you to Haroon Rasheed. Seems you know very well figures of the economy. Please post them also such as GDP, Nominal GDP. GDP per capita, Sensitive Consumer Price Index. Lessening burden of foreign and local debts. Surplus account status, if it is surplus then what are the triggers, is this because major imports are halted so cash outflows are stopped or cash flowing in as major industrial projects have been earning revenues. All these figures should be comparing the last 12 months as well as the last five years. Believe me, if you respond to this old man with solid facts he will have no place to hide

Looks like people named "Rafique" have a natural tendency to side with "Haroon" (pun intended).

Economy is not taken as something alone, rather it is to be taken as a position in time and space..... it should be a comparative measure. Specially, when the world is going through a pandemic disaster.

So you can see all these figures comparatively. How much did the other economies, in the same reference frame of time and space had progressed and what is Pakistan's comparative progress in these times?

Furthermore, GDP is one of the indicators of economic activity, rather than economic progress. Lets say you are building an orange metro line project on loan, then what will be your GDP for the year....? 200Bn, approx? but what these 200Bn will bring to the economy in the following year when the project is commissioned? a negative value.... consisting of the loan repayment amount plus the subsidy you give on it.
So it is a gimmick of figures.
