امریکیوں کو بھی چونا لگ گیا ۔ تحریک عدم اعتماد نہ ہونے پر اپنے ڈالر واپس مانگے تو جواب ملا کہ ہمارے بندے تو پورے تھے ۔ پیسے کیسے؟
پھر ایاز صادق کو سپیکر بنا کر ممبرز کی گنتی کرائی اور اپنی اکثریت امریکیوں کو پوری کر دکھائی۔
اب امریکی حیران بیٹھے ہیں کہ عدم اعتماد بھی نہیں ہوئی۔ اسمبلیاں بھی ٹوٹ گیئں ۔ خان ابھی بھی وزیر اعظم بیٹھا ہے ۔ ایسا کیسے ممکن ہے؟
اسلام آباد کے خبری نے بتایا ہے کہ امریکی ادھر ادھر سے پوچھتے پھر رہے ہیں کہ یہ کیسا جگاڑ لگایا ہے پاکستانیوں نے

Ofcourse it is not easy to get out of client-state status. Once you sell your dignity you fall deeper and deeper in to it and they do not let you out. To come out of it the people will have to bear an economic hardship for some years but it is a price worth paying. We should also be careful that we do not now become a client state for China in the process. I would like Pakistan to become a fully independent country as for as foreign policy goes. We must not hurt American, Chinese or Russian interests by siding with one in the bigger game but do only what is in our own interest. We should go for economic development and industrialization with all our resources.

We have to stop thinking about what Americans would feel and start thinking about ourselves. For any nation, living without dignity and respect is not worth living at all.
