story is that in Q.mobiles word "Muhammad" does not type correctly and after typing all letter of "Muhammad" it got weired shape in urdu language.
that's why some people think that this mobile is propaganda of qadianies and the word 'Q' arises the flames up on it.
though q-mobile management already asked to all q-mobile owners to get their s/w updated.
will try to reconfirm it by typing in some q-mobile of some friends.....

Q-MOBILE is an INDIAN PRODUCT and Please Do not buy it because INDIA is our most dangerous enemy in this region.I recommend MEGA-GATE as the owners are PAKISTANI and the products are compareble to Q products. In INDIA the Q products are available as MICROMAX, you cann google them and visually compare the PHONES.

Please stay on the subject. Don't start teaching Islam or criticizing.
We know all of you are super intellectuals.
There is no authentic news regarding the subject, mostly rumours which have been spread via text messages.
If some one can experience first hand about the issue that the word "Muhammad" cannot be written in Urdu language or english.
However, Q-Mobile is a low cost mobile set launched to capture the cheap mobile market. The quality is pretty low with very attractive features. It has numerous operating problems and warranty claim issues. Whatever they claim, they cannot deliver to the customer.
I have incredible confidence because I can see a bright prospect for us to innovate, to make a difference, to build great mobile products, like never before, at a speed that will surpass our past accomplishments. As I am proud to be opening the door to endless possibilities to the consumers of Pakistan who are rapidly becoming a part of the global telecom civilization. Mobile phones have become an integral part of our everyday lives and will become even more so as we move towards an extraordinary level of integrated convergence. Our offerings set us apart in the sector with a range of mobile phones with warranty backed by after sales service and customer care. Our customers are at the heart of all we do at QMobile.
I am sincerely grateful for the faith placed in QMobile by our customers, business partners, and employees. Mr. Zeeshan Pervaiz Akhtar, CEO QMobile, Digicom
The standard of english used in this message shows pretty much how competent they are.
In my personal experience, I have come across 4 people who bought High end Q-Mobile sets ranging from Rs. 6000 - 9000 (Touch Screen etc), but all of them switched back to branded phones pretty quick.
So its better to buy a branded low cost mobile than Q-Mobile.
