Washington, 19 July (KMS): Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai, the Executive Director of Kashmiri American Council has been arrested by the FBI personnel from his residence in the US.

The sources said that after his arrest on Tuesday morning, he is being questioned about his activities and may be produced to a competent court in the afternoon.

Washington, Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Executive Director, Kashmiri American Council (KAC) said that once again, Kashmir is living proof that it is not going to compromise, far less abandon, its demand for Azaadi (freedom) which is its birthright and for which it has paid a price in blood and suffering which has not been exacted from any other people of the South Asian subcontinent. Fai said that the Board of Directors of the KAC in its 3-days meeting agreed to the following 18-points “Policy Statement” to be pursued during the fiscal year of 2011.

There are some unusual happening which are beyond the imagining;
1- US is negotiating with Taliban in Afghanistan
2- 1st time in the history India blamed Taliban rather than Pakistan for Mumbai terror attack
3- and now this arrest of Mr. Ghulam Nabi Fai

My conclusion to this situation is bit odd but simple one and that is US doesn't want Pakistan to be relieved and India doesn't want US to pull out of Afghanistan this early; that's y India blamed Taliban just to give the US a reason to stay in Afghanistan while US doesn't want this but US is now compensating this move of them by letting the India have an upper hand in Kashmir matter.

and now in my opinion what Pakistani Forces and ISI do in IoK is justified because it's a game of our survival; so, y do u always cry on it.
Moreover, don't u worry; Kashmiri ppl have more love to their soil and they will never let you grab their land even without our efforts...

What is kashmiri movement in 2011??
No summer protests !!Its magnanimity of indian democratic,secular notions that indian govt has not been firm against those anti indian hurriyat !!

If india wants it can easily dissolve article 370 and push people into kashmir valley from bihar,up,tamil naidu .It also had happened in kashmir from 1400 AD once central asians muslims came in big nos in kashmir valley and settled down in lands of hinduism ,shiva where local inhabitants were kashmri pandits!!

India is strong and there is no militancy in valley..jammu,ladakh,shia kargil are with us !!only couple of milions residents of valley with couple of thousands fanatics cant harm india!!

Moreover indian army is not in civilians areas ,and kashmiri civilians are happy with local elections of 80% people support!!
The only problem in kashmir is hurriyat who pay people,incite locals and innocent people using religion !!We need to dismantle all such groups and kashmir wont have any problems ..do you know why thre are no protests in kashmir in 2011...we put those paki supported leaderd under house arrest on fridays and no protest,no dharna,no mob burning public property and no police firing,hence no killing !!
