    Salams To All !
Zaid Hamid Sahib is a very strong person but still I don't think he should be leading as a single entity and I wouldn't support it but yes he must be taken into a government where he heads some important state Task Forces like Foreign Policy, Indo-Pak Relations, Afghanistan obviously and more importantly the judicial and education system he talks about which I am standing behind firmly.

No but people need not follow him all the time if you have learnt enough, if you think that you have enough knowledge about Islam, then study the quran and the hadith surely we need some direction but once we know the direction, we need not follow any one person, we need to walk the path ourselves.

I was once a fan of zaid hamid but when I came to know the what people call conspiracies against zaid hamid, I backed off (because I learned that I am not supposed to follow anyone else except the nabi and his companions) and became neutral but I kept doing my own research on Islam and have taken little or no guidance from different ulema but I did not keep following any one person in particular in the current time line.

The problem is that people (including me in the past) keep following 1 singular personality - Zaid Hamid. Why? Are you not doing your own research? If not why? Are you not studying the quran and hadith to know your deen? If not why? Why do we need Zaid Hamid to tell us everything?

We are in need of guidance but we do not want to go to the ulema for guidance. Why? Just go to the ulema and ask them about what you hear from zaid hamid, they will tell you the same thing but they will also tell you to strengthen your basic beliefs, they tell us to do sharai parda, offer namaz five times a day do not listen to music, it is strange but I have ever heard Zaid Hamid telling anyone to go and do pardah, or not to listen to music, Why? He is always saying us to study iqbal. Does Allama Iqbal mean more to you than the quran, the hadith, the Nabi and his companions? If yes why? Surely iqbal is a great thinker and philosopher in the eyes of the ulema as well in fact they will quote you some of his writings sometimes in the end to motivate you.

Our basic problem is that when ulema ask us to do pardah, not listen to music etc etc we run away, Why?

The sincere ulema will always ask you to go and study the quran and hadith and do your own research, if you encounter any problem come to us we will explain, that is exactly what the ulema are for, they do not want you to follow them, they want everyone to follow the Nabi (Sa-Allaho-Alaih-e-Wasallam) or at least his companions.

We are told what to follow by the quran and the hadith but we do not do so.

Go and Study the Quran and the Hadith thoroughly and then ask your self do you need to follow zaid hamid, or do you want him to be your leader?

Just one last question in the end, keep in mind I AM NOT AGAINST ZAID HAMID:

Suppose, if zaid hamid is what conspiracies say they are, on the judgement day when Allah questions "I lined up people who said that zaid hamid is the follower of the kazzab, do not follow him, why did you not pay attention and called them conspiracy theorists?" What will you answer to Allah?

before setting your eyes on my question do read my entire post, and think using your heart, not your mind, because your heart is where is where Islam resides.

With all due respect when did he denounce kazzab?? He is still promoting kazzab as a mystic and wants everyone near him to honor kazzab. That was the reason Maria B and Ali Azmat left him as was forcing them to accept the beliefs of kazzab. Please do look into this in detail as this is related to our Imaan.

I agree with you that although Zaid Hamid has denounced his affiliation with Yousuf Kazab, still he has similar believes as Yousuf Kazab had. The problem is that most of Pakistanis have similar believes as Zaid Hamid. But he is still a Muslim, we can still hope that he might get hidayat one day and come to right path. Surely Zaid Hamid is not suitable for any religious post but he may be an asset in defense of Pakistan.

I am very hopeful if we continue to educated different Muslim sects and bring them towards Quraan and Sunnah we can eliminate sects and unite all Muslim into one banner of Quraan and Sunnah
    (authentic Hadeeths).

It is very clear that Allah does not like Muslims dividing into different sects. The Glorious Qur'an says :

    إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَرَّقُوا دِينَهُمْ وَكَانُوا شِيَعًا لَّسْتَ مِنْهُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ ۚ إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْعَلُونَ
Yusuf Ali 159: As for those who divide their religion and break up into sects, thou hast no part in them in the least: their affair is with Allah. He will in the end tell them the truth of all that they did. [Al-Qur'an 6:159]

Re: WOULD WE SUPPORT ZAID HAMID AS OUR LEADER OF PAKISTAN?

People like Zaid Hamid remind me of how much backing they get from various agencies to keep rubbing dust in our eyes and use popular internet conspiracy theories to fool the awam of this country.

His rise to fame since his 2008 debut on PTV's World View with Ahmed Quraishi's help is fishy. First he started as some unknown and unverified 'defence analyst', then he started putting religious chauvinism in his programs and started doing some weird stuff mixing Ghazwats, Iqbal's philosophy as well as the 100% FRAUD 'Ghazwa-e-Hind' Hadith taht was used by his old mentor Yusuf Kazzab and his weird cult from the 1990s.

Then suddenly he does a Takmeel-e-Pakistan stunt that goes horribly wrong when details of his past start coming out. And now he is some hero??

Please. Zaid Hamid is nothing but a dishonest fascist that Pakistan is better off from!

Just because YOU pray 5 times a day and do all basic pillars of Islam, does not automatically make YOU a better person! Those pillars is for Allah to decide if they will be accepted or not, right? So dont use that as an excuse.

Waisay bhi...the 5 waqt namazi businessmen and traders here smuggle and evade taxes, blackmail people, bribe officers, and run away with govt contract money, and end up going on Umrah with that ill-gotten money and use it to fund the next mega madrassah being made!

So dont be fooled by these pseudo-religious people who SHOW OFF with their worship but have truly blackhearts inside!

It is said that he must pronounce yousuf as kazzab but he does not do that, which leads many to believe that he is still following the same beliefs say what you want, but a true muslim and a follower of sunnah will never sit around be-pardah girls
