I'm not a follower of Ghamdi, but do relate to some of his work in some situations because they are accurate cultural and social interpretations with regards to Islam. Again, I look at Ghamdi not as an Islamic Scholar, but a Islamic Societies and Culture Scholar.

However, since these are your points, would be grateful if you can provide the links/videos for the same.

Salam, it is un-fortunate and disappointing to see Muslims of all people adopting such behavior towards goodness when it arrives. The issue is not who is speaking but what is he saying. If Satan, for example, comes to a sahabi and tells him to recite ayat al-kursi and the Prophet[s] happens approves it, will you still, then, abstain hereof? If so then you are among those in lose. So also, even if you regard janab Ghamidi some fitnah or something it is binding upon you to trace it back to the Q&S and judge in light thereof or else if his opinion conforms them and we were to neglect it altogether then we - not he - are putting ourselves to trial. Regard the Qur'anic ayah above and try doing justice to the topic, the issue raised is a very delicate one in our times where people - from literally out of no where - come up with tales full of fantasy and thump it straight unto religion meanwhile attributing all sorts of falsehood to the holy Prophet[s] causing mass confusion betwixt Muslims and hampering Islamic da'wah efforts. This clip has nothing wrong in it. J A Ghamdi sb often speak truth.
The major error in him is he deny islam as deen(system). Instead he says it is just for self to adopt.

He does have his own approach but he does not deny islam is a deen. His approach does confuse the issue a bit but I hope he realises it and emphasise the deeni aspect of islam more than he usually does.
