Refresh my memory - where was Imran Farooq murdered and who has given assylum to AH and allowed him to operate a political party that uses violence to further its objectives from their shores?

You make a valid point and I will answer it in this way

since AH got asylum much has changed, we have a new PM,new Home Sec, New Police Commissioner, New MP for his area, and a new Mayor for London.

Add to that the UK and USA turn their backs on those they use very quickly, and then make an example of them.
Bin Laden, Saddam, Ghadaffi, Mubarak, to name but afew

I also believe MQM and AH have promised much but delivered little, and sooner or later, the Fat one is going to be negative equity value

I see it this way - no matter which government is in power in Great Britain their vision and policies in our part of the world have not changed much and this is all a small part of that larger policy.

Imran Farooq wanted to Join Musharraf Leage before Death

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010...ooq-murder-mqm

Pakistan: Imran Farooq murder linked to rows within MQM party

Politician may have been about to endorse or join new party set up by
    General Pervez Musharraf, source claims

The Scotland Yard investigation into the murder in London of the leading
Pakistani politician Dr Imran Farooq has been told that rows within his own party may have led to his assassination.
Farooq, 50, was stabbed to death earlier this month during an attack in which he was also beaten near his home in Edgware, north London. Farooq was a senior figure in Pakistan's MQM (Muttahida Quami Movement) party, and was in exile in London at the time of his death.
The murder is being investigated by Scotland Yard's counter-terrorism branch because of the political dimension to the killing.
    Sources say
intelligence suggests his death was linked to rows within the MQM.
Farooq, once prominent in MQM, had taken a back seat. A senior Pakistani source said he may have been about to endorse or join a new party set up by Pakistan's former military ruler, General Pervez Musharraf. The source said of the motive: "It lies within the MQM. Dr Farooq was probably going to join Musharraf."He is vowing to leave his own London exile and return home to launch a fresh bid for power. His new party, the All Pakistan Muslim League, will launch its programme in London later this week.
Asked by the Sunday Telegraph about his reaction to Farooq's murder, Musharraf said: "It is terrible that such an assassination could happen in a place like London."

Farooq, who was married with two young sons, claimed UK asylum in 1999 alongside Altaf Hussain, the MQM's leader. Hussain, who also lives in exile in London, has said "enemies of the MQM" killed Farooq and they will try to kill him. Pakistan's media reported him as saying on Friday: "Now the enemies of the movement are after my life,
but I want to tell them I am not afraid of anyone, whether it's a superpower like the United States or its Nato allies or their Pakistani agents … I fear the Almighty Allah and will never bow down before the conspirators even if they get my British citizenship rescinded."
Police in London are still hunting an attacker who, one witness said, appeared to be an Asian man. Analysts say the MQM has longstanding rivalries with ethnic Pashtun and Sindhi parties in Karachi.
The MQM has also been riven by occasional internecine violence.
Before entering the UK, Farooq spent seven years on the run in Pakistan from criminal charges while the MQM was engaged in a violent battle for control of Karachi. He remained a key party figure.
While MQM leader Hussain is protected by private guards and rarely appears in public following death threats, colleagues said Farooq never believed he was at risk and had played a smaller role in the party since the birth of his sons, now aged five and three.
Farooq was attacked on his way home from his job at a chemist's shop. He was found near his home after neighbours witnessed what they believed was a fight. Paramedics were called but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
MQM party officials in the party's stronghold of Karachi declared a 10-day period of mourning. Previous political killings have triggered riots and deadly clashes between rival factions. Police are keeping an open mind as to the identity of Farooq's killer and their investigation continues.

Police are appealing for information as the two-year anniversary of Dr Imran Farooq's death approaches

.Appeal two years after doctor murdered in Edgware

A doctor who was murdered two years ago may have been building his political profile in the months before he was killed, say police.

An e-fit of a person police want to speak to in connection with the death of Dr Imran Farooq.

A reward of up to £20,000 is being offered for anyone providing information leading to the identification, arrest, and prosecution of those responsible for the death of Dr Imran Farooq.
The Met Police’s terrorism command detectives, who are investigating the crime,
believe Dr Farooq had been poised to renew his political career.
Dr Farooq was on his was home from work when he was attacked outside his home in Green Lane, Edgware, shortly before 5.30pm on Thursday, September 16 2010.
    A post-mortem gave his
cause of death as multiple stab wounds and blunt trauma to the head, and police found a five and a half inch blade and a house brick used in the attack at the scene.

A knife of the kind found at the scene of Dr Imran Farooq's death.

As the second anniversary of his death approaches officers want to speak to anyone who has information, or who was in contact with Dr Farooq over his political ambitions.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: “Detectives from the Met Police Counter Terrorism Command remain committed to finding those responsible.

“They believe his murder would have required careful planning and would have required help from other people, some of whom may have provided assistance or information unwittingly
    .”
Police want to speak to anyone who was asked for information about Dr Farooq and his routine, or
who was asked to help buy items such as knives similar to those used in the murder, or mobile phones around the time of the attack.
Officers also want to speak to anyone who may have been asked to drive people around the Green Lane area in the days before the murder, or who may have witnessed the suspects leaving the scene.
Anyone who can help call the police incident room on 0208 721 3784 or email SO15Mailbox-.DrFarooqMurder@met.police.uk, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.

    MQM letter to Guardian:
    http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010...q-mqm-pakistan

    Letters

    Imran Farooq

We refer to the article titled "Pakistan: Imran Farooq murder linked to rows within MQM party" published on your website since 26 September and a shorter version of the article published in your newspaper
on 27 September titled "Politician's murder linked to party rows". We write to register our profound dismay that the Guardian chose to publish such baseless allegations against our party, the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM).
(Go ahead and sue them for Libel. No didnt think so)

The allegation that the murder of Dr Imran Farooq was somehow linked to "rows within the MQM" is entirely false.
It is of note that it is attributed only to "sources" without giving any indication of who those sources might be or whether they have any political axe to grind. There were no internal divisions in the MQM which might have led to his murder. Dr Imran Farooq was the founder member of the MQM and remained the party convener of its central co-ordination committee until his last breath. He was a highly respected member of the party and remained on good terms with senior officials of the MQM. At a time when we are still grieving about his tragic murder and when a police investigation is under way, these allegations have caused significant hurt and distress to millions of MQM workers and supporters.
    Dr Farooq Sattar
    MQM deputy convener
    and four others

Re: Imran Farooq's wish to pursue politics independently led to his murder: London police

You know if there were enough Pakistanis in the UK motivated enough,

they could make something happen here, to force the UK to explain and act.

The UK public and press when they turn against someone they really turn nasty

There are examples like the mullah with a hook Jade Goody Anjum Choudry even Ronaldo

Forget MP's Forget the Police, Forget the Government,

Its the average Brit who can make a difference. Ask any Brit if they want a terrorist living here ?

In their neighbourhood, or street or City ? Some form of direct action is what it would take

All that is necessary is something to bring this to the natives en masse and raise the right questions

Then tell them about the murder of Imran Farooq. Google is a powerful tool, let them find out more

Find a way to do that and the rest is

    Easy

I think being a supporter of PTI you should not be allowed to show yur rejoice on the news and you know very well why. Nevertheless nothing would happen to Kala Naag.
Imran Khan only sees Punjab as the worst place on earth, he blatantly ignores target killing, bhatta, kidnap for ranson and other crimes in Karachi which is DISGUSTING

kiya kahien dunya main kisi bhi mulk ka subse barra shehr aur port badmaashon aur gang war kay hawalay hota hai?
