Zulfiqar Mirza and Fahmida Mirza diagnose with cancer, both are in US for chemotherapy

Karachi: Former Home Minister of Sindh Dr Zulfiqar Mirza and his wife Speaker National Assembly Dr Fahmida Mirza, both are suffering from cancer.

Dr Mirza and his wife Dr Fahmida, both are hospitalised in US. According to the closest source of the Mirza family, Mirza and his wife were not well since first week of August, later on family doctor advised them to go to United States for further treatment.

Zulfiqar Mirza and Fahmida Mirza went to US along with their son, member of Sindh Assembly Hasnain Mirza, where different medical tests have been done.

Sources said, Zulfiqar Mirza is suffering from initial stage of cancer and it is curable while Fahmida Mirza is in critical stage.

It has been observed that suddenly, Zulfiqar Mirza had disappeared from the political mainstream.

Sources were claiming that Mirza adopted disappearance from politics just because of political rift with Zardari but on the other side news were circulating about his illness.

Islamabad: 17th August, 2012: Dr. Fehmida Mirza, Speaker National Assembly has expressed her gratitude for the good wishes conveyed to her telephonically and through her office during her ailment.
According to a message received from USA, the Speaker said that she was deeply touched and indebted to all her well wishers who prayed for her speedy recovery. The Speaker said that she had recovered with the prayers of her well wishers and would be resuming her constitutional responsibilities shortly.
