@romeojuliet Bhai Jan Please Don't Disappointed. National Language is Urdu , and Urdu is only Language witch everyone can speak easily and Urdu is best communication Language in Pakistan.

No one can ask you to leave, Pakistan is your country as like everyone in Pakistan. Pakistan is full of Beautiful Languages. every Language has its own beauty in itself.

Please keep your self involved and make friends of other communities and languages. In every community there are good and bad people, try to make good friends who speak various languages. Don't accept any negative opinions quickly, always think about the bright side. There is no doubt about it that there is very talented and very bright minded people in Urdu speaking community, but same as in every community, whichever language they are speaking,, about the struggle in freedom movement,Yes, Everyone did sacrifice, but as long as the language matter is, language always belongs to the place you are living, it doesn't belong to anyone, you can start speaking any language in your house, in your family; no one can stop you, but yes, if your mother language is Urdu, if you check your fore-fathers language, it could be Persian! So don't be very sensitive about language. I can speak almost 9 languages fluently and I have friends, and I normally talk to my friends in their language which makes our friendship more stronger and it makes them very happy. Brother, life is already full of different kinds of issues so this whole language issue, we need to view from a aspect because every country in the world, have different spoken languages and not everyone is comfortable, there are comforts and discomforts, so we shouldn't make this a racism issue. It doesn't mean anyone is doing discrimination between languages. Try to always find good people in the society and make them your friends.

But unfortunately, in Karachi, people are doing politics on the basis of language racism and they are dividing the communities, and their politics is successful. I never appreciate if anyone who is blaming others on the basis language issues. I like every language and each language is unique in it's own way. I try to speak all languages because these are the languages of my country.

Yes, I have many stupid ICS officers in my family who later served in high posts in Pakistan. They immensely contributed in buildings great institutions. They also used to talk merit, honour, right and wrong etc, etc. They never supported any body in the family even in very minor day to day issues and always asked to go and get their job done as an ordinary citizen but than they faced termination from jobs in Ayub Khan time, discriminated who remained in job etc, etc. If you live in Karachi and are Muhajir, was your house not attacked in Ayub Khan time only because you were urdu speaking, we lived for two months in the houses of our family for fear of our life. Did you not face attacks in the time of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto urdu-sindhi riots. Have you not seen how Sindhis have been occupying sindh government, have you not heard Zulfiqar Mirza, has no one in your family been beaten up in Karachi university and in Hyderabad. My brother was killed at the door of my house only for being an urdu speaking even he had nothing to do with any politics. Have you not seen that how thousands of Sindhis are appointed in jobs in Sindh while urdu speaking have been removed. Did you not hear Zulfiqar Mirza when he said that he appointed ten thousand policemen but no Urdu Speaking, did he not say that he issued 350,000 arm licenses( to kill Muhajirs). Have you not seen how Jamat Islami terrorist wing of Islami jammiat Talba has been killing MQM members from the first day and later so many other armed groups of BNA, ANP and PPP have joined in. I can go on and on.

Please note that I have been like you and many in my family react the same way as you did but we should also highlight all the highhandedness and discriminations. Have you not been reading the poison against urdu speaking everyday on this forum. Have you not been hearing Zulfiqar Mirza and so many other Sindhi nationalists what they have been talking (and doing) against us. They openly not only say that we return to India but claim that we had come like beggars and they did great favour to us where as the realities you know as to who was slave of Hindus in Sindh and what we left in India. Anyway, for your information I am no less nationalist and agree that we are all Pakistanis only but they do not agree. They are only Sindhi, Punjabi etc, etc because this is what serves them. They had implemented quota system and refuse to do away with it????? All in my family who were in high jobs talked like you but they paid the high price in many ways for being nationalist. Their nationalism brought only disaster to our day to day life and like them the nationalism of those who fought to create Pakistan. Believe me, I visited India and was guest of my family there. They are still living in style and own all their properties and have high status in India. Anyway, I agree with your point that what ever it may be, we should work to strengthen Pakistan and believe me I do that. But, than it is also my duty to highlight the excesses against us, ignoring them will only help to multiply them. I only voice these discriminations but on practical level, I am contributing to strengthen Pakistan and do not practice any discrimination. Please tell me why MQM was created? Was it not in reaction to the discrimination and prejudice against Urdu Speaking??? Sindhi, Punjabi etc do not want to be Pakistani, they got quota system enforced, they fought to promote their languages not to preserve cultural identity and variety but to emphasize their share in proportion to their population and not on merit. Had we strengthen our systems and practiced merit, Pakistan would have certainly been stronger than UK, Japan etc by now. MQM was and is only a reaction to ethnic politics by others????? why the facts are being distorted?????????

If this is the matter then why MQM is not announcing it clearly their policy about urdu speaking people their trying to go all round pakistan with a different slogan, if this is their main concern and main objective to get a separate province or separate state for urdu speaking , as I can understand easily the way you're conversation reply. I think if MQM is really representing the urdu speaking community he should declare the policies and there targets to achieve for urdu speaking people, why they are not openly come forward and announce their agenda, so it will be very easy for a common man what MQM wants from pakistan, either a province for mohajir or separation like bangladesh. Or if not then I think whatever we do should be very straightforward and have very clear picture that everyone can understand. At the moment no one can understand MQM, or what they want, sometime they threat the government that we are leaving you then again they join them, they don't have a clear policy yet.

Dear Brother.. Listen to me.. It obviously is our duty as a Pakistani to serve this nation and build our home Pakistan stronger than ever.
