    Re: ھور چوپو گنے

Electricity is already made in big sugar mills for their own use through this method. turbines are run through boilers on baggase to produce electricity. its a very efficient method.

In Brazil 50% of their car fuel is made from sugar cane

If you produce your own, then you are not subject to all sorts of outside economic and non economic influences.

We could seriously seriously produce enough sugarcane to make a big difference in our energy needs

    Re: ھور چوپو گنے

Being part of a big oil company, who have invested around $10th in Brazil, I know the importance and low cost at which energy can be produced from Biofuels, Pakistan has such a great potential, you just need to have a credible govt so that investors have confidence coming to pakistan and contribute in this industry.

I mean Punjab alone can get their much needed energy, so much so that it can revitalise the main industrial hubs like faisalabad and Sialkot for eg, but here we have the great showman showbaz doing tent drama and shifting blames, enticing and patronising the poor people of Punjab rather than doing some practical work to resolve the biggest problem....

Yes, the energy problem, if that dumb wit can go to turkey and import the bus service which is a quick fix solution to face saving since elections are near, why couldnt he take initiative on biofuels for solving energy crises.

If any noora league supporter justify mega money is needed, federal govt restrictions bla bla bla, I don't buy that as he only needed to show his intent that he was serious about this issue, I mean for God's sake, if small industries in Pakistan can generate electricity for their own consumption, Punjab govt don't need billions to produce say 100 Mwt from biofuels, one of the cheapest source of energy around these days.

What a pity, kin begharato key hathey charh Gaya hey hamara piyara Pakistan.
