I think Samar Mubarak nailed it.. I have seen local welders using TYRE TUBE WITH OXY-ACETYLENE welder, using carbide with oxygen...
If u watch video at 28:00 it is clear that there is tube & welder apparatus...
So if he is using carbide then whats the total cost per KM....???

yes thats all the thing, the cost of carbide
if net cost is cheaper than gasoline, then the idea is not bad

but it remains very dangerous if stored in rubber tube, there should be proper secured cylinder
