PTI appoints Musharraf's Interior Minister as PTI Foreign Political Parties Advisor

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has appointed ex-state minister of former President General Pervez Musharraf’s regime Dr Shahzad Waseem, as his adviser on foreign political parties, a portfolio never known before in the party ranks.

A notification, carrying signature of PTI Secretary General Dr Arif Alvi, released to the media, said that Imran had given the responsibility to the local politician, who joined Team Imran, a few months back.This development has taken place only a month before the PTI’s intra-party election for which membership campaign concluded on June 30.
