The books of tarzan, umro and hatim were ridiculed but essentially were Pakistani.
I've searched and collected quite a few books for my kids as I fear they are about to become extinct.
Coming to other stories, the one I can remember are:
Tarzan, Umro Ayar, Chalosak Malosak, Chan Changlo (very colorful names. I know)
From Ferozsons:
Talism Hoshruba, Dastaan Ameer Hamza, Hatim Tai series, Shakantla series, Mirza Adeeb's story about the kid who falls in love with his donkey (can't recall the name)
Others:
Inspector Jamshaid, Inspector Kamran, Shoki Brothers (I'll update as I remember)
