hazrat-e-insaaan is a complicated beast with a mind of its own. Education, indoctrination, enlightenment works sometime but not guaranteed to work all the time. No religion or society can survive without ground rules or in other words, laws. But, I agree that you can't reform societies with just law enforcement but it is required.

We live in a country formed in the name of the best religion - if you read some folks here then you would think that we are the best people, most pious and innocent, but I can assure you that you wouldn't even want to leave a sewing needle anywhere in the fear that it will be gone within a second. I know that there are underlying reasons for this behavior but what I am saying is that to keep these things in check you have to have laws.

In some places there are unsaid rules or laws which are not on the books but unwritten since going against them would nonsensical - just take this VIP or VVIP culture. In any civilized society it would be assumed that you are not supposed to live a lavish life on taxpayers/public's money. Do you think that the folks who are abusing their positions wouldn't know that what they are doing is ethically and morally wrong? Since they wouldn't stop on their own you would need laws to prevent this behavior and have to have enforcement of the law.

Not that I am supporting Maulana's initiative, in fact in principle I do, but how else do you stop state sponsored VIP culture?

Yar Raiwind palace is his private asset and whichever way he uses it, its his personnel matter but Govt employees who are serving there for security or any other purpose should not be there because they are being paid from our taxes.
Change should be in VIP Houses where our tax is being spent like President house, PM house, Governor House, CM house, senior Govt employees` houses.
