    Will he win ?

Will the "people" defeat him, as a protest against him and his family ?

Once again PTI will successfully boycott this by-election.

They are like Goldilocks, this election is too rigged, this election is too unfair, this election is too biased.

I do not get the point of wastin all that money for electing someone for few months

Can anyone honestly justify the expense, will it make one iota of difference to the make up of the current Parliament ?

The Next PM can expect 210 instead of 211 votes, big furkin deal

Re: Gillani Junior wants Dad's seat, will he get it ?

No there is a very clever thinking behind this by ppp and pmln.
I mean people vote the ruling parties in their respective areas because they go to them and promise certian things like nali, pull road etc....
they know that as ppp is in power, any of the ppp guy will definitely get funds (same goes in areas where there is punjab govt's hold) so this will those people some immediate benefits.

They don't think too far but immediate financial benefits.
for ppp its beneficial that they can come on media and show with pride to their critics that see in your face! we won again!

PTI knows that PPP and pmln have these benefits, plus election commission has not even made the new lists yet, so even if pti wants to go in elections there are many reasons why they can't win a seat in these elections.
I think pti is better off! they should focus on general elections.

Re: Gillani Junior wants Dad's seat, will he get it ?

there is no relation between by election and general election at all..

pmlq won most of the by elections till the end of their govt..but in general elections, the results were totally different...

in pakistan, by elections are mostly won by the govt.. thats y in pakistan, often candidates contest from multiple seats..coz they r securing them..they know once in govt, they will win it anyway..

never understood that business, standing in multiple seats, and then resigning from all but one

Surely it makes sense to fight one seat on an all or nothing basis. That I believe is the norm elsewhere

PPP will win this seat easily because PTI is not fielding any candidate in this bye-election.
PML(N) will lose it as usual as it lost in the past.PTI has a strong candidate named sikander Bosan
who already defeated Gillani in 2002 election. Geo Imran Khan! Geo PTI! Vote for PTI Inshallah!
