Because the media in our country is not free as people tend to believe. There are limits to what they can or can't cover plus there is lack of will and professionalism. When I had watched this video I was wondering why the head of Jang Group had not left any stone unturned in trying to follow leads from this video and have tried to follow the trail to prove this video either accurate or false and would have demanded action based on the finding. The so called principled journalists/anchors can only criticize when they are not threatened with their lives or their families or income and the media owners are only concerned with profits. Given the apathy to Wali's murder and to find the killers and bringing them to justice the other journalists would never go the extra mile or care to dig up the stories - they know that their fate may not be different form Wali's.

Its sad to see these stories and the helplessness of the families who lost their loved ones. It seems that in Pakistan the people with the biggest guns rule whether its the state agencies or the terrorist organizations who commit these heinous crimes.

why would anyone care - the PPP, ANP, MQM in the case of Karachi don't really care. They commit murders whenever need to protect their turfs and maintain their hold on power - case in point the Liyari operation. Who knows how many stories of innocent lives taken in Liyari are not being reported.
