Nothing justify killing but your argument is weak. as long as we are not killing animals for fun, torture or hunting for fun then we are not doing harm to our environment.

There are things we human should eat and there are things we shouldn't. Our stomach, teeth are made such way that we can chew and digest meat. Some animals can only be vegetarians and some are canines and some are omnivores. If you don't want to eat meat then fine but giving wrong reasons is not.

I have seen animals trying to scape when they are taking to slaughter. They shout and try to free themselves from being killed. I saw goat cry when one goat was killed on eid day and second was to be killed next day.

This the kind of justification white people had when the enslaved blacks.
