How to tackle the media offense againt PTI?

Coming to the question, for the last few months now, it has becoming increasingly evident that a vast majority of media, TV hosts, anchorpersons, journalists and writers are spitting venom against PTI. PTI Jalsas, their press conferences are not given proper coverage either in print or electronic media. Certain journalists have made it their habits to criticize IK and PTI and that too in very petty and derogatory manner.

Genuine Questions must be encouraged. We at PTI, must appreciate the people asking questions with dignity, with interest. We should know that this will help PTI tremendously. PTI is a party that is progressive, is vibrant, giving solutions to the problems of Pakistani society and most importantly it thrives on youth which makes up more than 60% of the country's population and is the ONLY national party in Pakistan.

What baffles me the most however is that for the past few weeks, it has been criticized for the things it hasn't even done/committed. Certain people in media are increasingly giving this impression that they have been either sold out to other forces or they simply dont want to see PTI in government. They bash, ridicule, mock PTI leaders on television. The latest example being Sana Bucha of JEW news channel.

Now I dont mind her asking tough questions from IK. We know IK is a proven champion and he by the help of Allah comes out clean in situations like this. However, when IK asked Miss Bucha to personally visit Quetta and interact with people there, she never went. On top of that, the last episode was a clear proof of her attitude towards PTI when she even invited Shahid Qazi, the person who wished that BLA should fire a rocket at Ayub Stadium during the time of Jalsa. It is also questionable why doesnt she invite NS, YRG, AAZ to her programs and ask the similar questions in the similar derogatory tones?

We cannot ignore the influence of the media in Pakistan today but at the same time, I am getting the feeling that as the elections are approaching, this bias against IK and PTI will only increase which could potentially harm the interests of Pakistan.

That questions is what strategy should the PTI use to tackle this media? What possibly could be done?

PTI top leadership should not go on LEKIN until she agrees to ask questions in better tone. The same tone she speaks when interviewing her daddy and co.

PTI needs a strong and active media cell, that's it. PTI's political leadership many a times is too busy in political activities etc. to keep themselves updated on all the propaganda that is floating around related to PTI these days, so it is the job of dedicated PTI media cell members to keep themselves and other party members updated on the latest propaganda items and how to respond to them. All leaders should go through some material by the media cell for them to be fully prepared for any onslaught from biased anchors or from other party's reps before they go on any program.

I can tell you right now we as the online community of PTI sometimes are more knowledgeable about various propaganda than those working actively n ground. It wouldn't hurt to involve the facebook and twitter community in this as well but it needs coordination by the media cell.

Lastly, the media cell should prepare some highly capable 4-5 good speakers for PTI as that is usually whats needed. We only see a few leaders from other parties as well e.g. Mushahidullah from PML-N (who is present on almost every program). These 4-5 leaders should be sharp and keep themselves updated on all points of interest and should propagate party ideology.

Hope this gets better soon because the media will play a crucial role in the election campaign. But I do know IK has taken note of this long ago so I expect it to get better soon and things are more organized...

The solution to this is, don't watch such crap programs, this is the way to give them our message at the same time register your protest at all available forums .. this thread is also an example. So, when their viewership will drop they will have to change their approach as this is the world of economics, or at least through our protest other people willl get awareness about biased attitude of such anchor's and hence their propaganda will lose its effectiveness ...

Basically our corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, media they are all now get together against PTI for only one reason that is if PTI come into power their corruption will go down to minimum level certainly not stop completely. So you all guys/gals should understand their frustration and fear to stop PTI rising. So every PTI supported should work hard to counter that. I also hope people from Sindh should understand and start supporting IK and PTI for themselves and for the country.

of PTI participates otherwise I do not watch them. The whole media is selfish and united
in opposing or degrading PTI.

2ndly Pti should increase & more develop their media cell.
Stop going in useless media chennals like "Liken" & many more
i bet U ppl gonna stop watching those programs because supporters of Pml/ppp they all keep watching & like to watch Pti progrms & jalsas.
For exmple "Marum Nawaz" gave commnts on Pti Qutta jalsa 2 mints after Imran Khan speech it show they watch & like IM. so pti should stop going to roude progrms.
But on other hand these taugh talk show making pti more strong.
Again media cell of pti defntly need some more concentration.

Media is part of Status Quo... We need to make a list of those news producers, anchors, journalists and columnist who are biased against PTI and IK. Then we should find out abt each person in details, like their past work and affiliation with other political parties and foreign countries. We should show their true face to the people of Pakistan through Facebook, twitter and other websites.
If we want PTI in power, we should not rely on media only but to work in our areas personally or at least convince our family members, relatives and people living in our streets to vote for PTI

Enough is enough, some biased and lafafa anchors are going to all extents and doing every best of them trying to defame PTI.

Leading one of them is "Suna Bucha".

Lets not forget that biggest protest is to "Vote by Our Remote". Viewers are biggest strength for any Program to survive. And these Rating greedy ppl will soon realize their stuff if don't provide them viewership. Lets cause big drop in their viewersihp and media house owners will take care of them.
