Re: The great leader with a heroic personality; Quaid-e-Azam M. Ali Jinnah

    Thanks for sharing.

Its only we Pakistanis forgot him --- not the world. We only celebrate his birth holiday and that's it. His principles, vision and dream for Pakistan --- all shattered.

Worst enough --- 'N league' shamelessly using his picture

To be honest we never read the Quaid's life, rather we had an essay each in English and Urdu and that's it. That's why we, as a nation, lack in his vision.

    Well said

All we learned during our studies was --- his date of birth, death, 14 points, about education and that's it.

I forgot the book name but I did read a book on him during my childhood. Truly an outstanding personality.

Fantastic - I would surely visit it next time I am in Toronto. There is a statue of Gandhi in Carleton University

Ever heard about this famous quote, it's belongs to following book; Stanley Wolpert’s book, “Jinnah of Pakistan”

“Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Muhammad Ali Jinnah did all three.” Stanley Wolpert

Also read Jaswant Singh (sikh of BJP party, expelled from party) title Jinnah --- I did't get time to read it yet --- but I highly recommend it. Mr Jinnah's marvellous achievements made enemies of Pakistan to praise his efforts as well. Mind you, in this book, he blamed Nehru for partition. I will read it when I'll visit Pakistan. This book also banned in some states of India, so you can very well understand k indians ko kitni mirhcain lagi hain Mr Jinaah ki tareef sun ker

Don't hesitate to name and shame them.

Those are liberal facisicts ------- who idolise western life and ----------lament every moment and never hesitate to spew poison against Pakistan ----that why they were born in backward society of Pakistan --- they think they are made for West. But dhoobi kaa kuttaaa -------- gheer kaa naaa ghaat kaa

Those are the people specially deployed by the NGO funded by UK/US to demoralize us and help us forget our heroes. You may have noticed they are slowly trying us to forget Mohammad as well

Thanks to Mumtaz Qadri, that punishing of Salman taseer has slowed down the demand of change in blasphemy law.

do you remember b itch Sherry Rehman has said 'more than one wife mentioned in Quran is misinterpretted'? After Taseer was punished, she went back into oblivian, scared as shaking leave during strong wind

Lightbulb Statue of Jinnah unveiled at York University

There’s a new face on campus, standing on the north side of the Curtis Lecture Hall on Campus Walk at York’s Keele campus – and he could be a world first for York. A sculpture of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan and the country’s first governor general, was unveiled Tuesday, Jan. 30, to commemorate the creation of a scholarship that bears his name.
