Asalam u alaikum brothers and sisters,</div> <br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">I always think what are meaning of Pakistan. I asked many people at different time and places everyone told me different meanings as they know, or they understand, but my knowledge hunger still not complete. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">One day I went to Khaliq Dina Hall library in Karachi and I found one of best old poetry by Poet Habib Jalib. He wrote it when East &amp; West Pakistan were one, so you will also find word bangal there in poetry. We lost eastern part in 1970-71 and we don't want any more loss at any cost. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">I would like to share that poetry with all my brothers and sisters. You maybe had read the poetry somewhere els also. Let&#8217;s read it once more time. And see how clear meanings Habib Jalib had explained here.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Tahoma">Bread, clothes and medicine</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">A little house to live in</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">Free education, as may right be seen</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">A Muslim, I, too, have always been</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">What does Pakistan mean</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">There is no God, but God, the Rab-al-alameen</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Tahoma">For American alms do not bray</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">Do not, the people, laugh away</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">With the democratic struggle do not play</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">Hold on to freedom, do not cave in</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">What does Pakistan mean</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">There is no God, but God, the Rab-al-alameen</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">Confiscate the fields from the landowners</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">Take away the mills from the robbers</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">Redeem the country from its dark hours</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">Off with the lordly vermin</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">What does Pakistan mean</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">There is no God, but God, the Rab-al-alameen</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Tahoma">Sind, Baluchistan and Frontier</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">These three are to Punjab most dear</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">And Bengal lends them splendour</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Tahoma">What does Pakistan mean</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">There is no God, but God, the Rab-al-alameen</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">This, then, is the basic thing</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">For the people, let freedom&#8217;s bell ring</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">From the rope, let the plunderer swing</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Tahoma">Truly they speak, who the truth have seen</span><br />
