This remind me of my Mulllla friend back in College. He made us prey in the lobby of a 5-Star Hotel in New York (Without asking anybody there for permission). We went on a college trip / picnic with guys and girls music all the way in the van and Mushaira but we preyed in Jamaat. He made us prey on a stone. Girls were still not impressed from this mullla.....lol

If these people praying in an Islamic country where the local laws permit then no problem, but if this is a non muslim country and they are praying without the permission, and obstructing the pedestrians then it is trespassing, that is not allowed even in my beloved Islam. They should find a corner and lonely place to perform their ibadah.

Bhai babadeea, simple answer to the question is that many Muslims in these kind of circumstances pray with the shoes on.
Again there is difference of opinion on it if you can do it under any circumstances or not.

There are only two type of circumstances in which Namaz is done:
a) in the state of Fear that enemy may attack any time;
b) in the state of peace n tranquility;
I do not know which this situation was? but can be seen that it is some western society. My hat off to that society, it is
called tolerance and freedom for all. At least no one stopped them from praying, we should and must give the
positive note/credit where it is due. So if the Namaz was in the state of peace n tranquality, then there are
certain pre-requisites which does not include wearing of shoes etc and if it is in fear then Allah is forgiving n merciful.

Girls are never pressed by Namaz, I suppose, there are other requirements, like
Zulm pay khush, Lutofo karam pay ranjeedah,

I first time in my life saw someone praying with shoes on. I have been to Middle East. Did not see anyone. Anyhow here is
readily link about Namaz from Quran: you can deduce your own views:

I am no one to question what you have given in link. But shoes are first thing to be naapak(unclean), Only Allah knows better
I never did it with shoes and nor will do it inshallah with shoes.

Bhai Babadeena,
Best thing that I can see in your post is that Inshallah you will keep on saying prayer :).
I have seen lot of Muslim brothers in west establishing salat with shoes in these kind of circumstances.
Some brothers agree and some don't and both are fine for me. The best thing is still there i.e people are establishing salat.

Here are pre-requisites for Prayer:
Sahih International
O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer,
a) wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows
b) and wipe over your heads
c) and wash your feet to the ankles.
And if you are in a state of janabah,
--then purify yourselves.
But
a)if you are ill
b) or on a journey
c) or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself (Toilet)
d)or you have contacted women
and do not find water,
a) then seek clean earth
b) and wipe over your faces and hands with it.
Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful.

Mine question is that Had someone authority to change/edit the words of Allah and act contrary to what
is written in Quran. Remember this is in Surah Maidah which is one the last surah comprising many
commandments given at the Fare-well Pilgrimage.
