FM Qureshi suspends India visit, returning home ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has suspended his ongoing Indian visit and has left for Pakistan in emergency, Geo T.V reported.

No reason to cut short his visit was reported.

India should avoid “The blame game”: Foreign Office ISLAMABAD: As efforts continue a day after the synchronized terror attack in Mumbai that claimed 160 lives to free hostages still held at luxury hotels, the blame game is well underway.

In a televised address, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh made a barely veiled reference to Pakistan when he stated militant groups based in 'neighbouring' countries were responsible for the attack.

Statement from Pakistan foreign office said that Pakistan stands united with India in the war on terror and longs to extend its full cooperation to curb this menace however India should respect Pakistan’s efforts of combating against terrorism and should avoid playing blame game.

Foreign ministry hoped Indian leadership to have positive reply to Pakistan’s proposal to help locate culprits involved in Mumbai mayhem.

Indian police said they believe the militants may have come aboard rubber dinghies, quickly fanned out across Mumbai and then struck in various places as planned, targeting western and Israeli nationals.
