Welcome back Aleph, Long time no see brother. I agree. You are right, Taliban are not suffering from a personality disorder. They don't pretend to be the peace doves and make sure that we don't expect any warm fuzzies from their side. MQM on the other hand has a bad case of MPD, I guess its reflective of their leader's personality. Thats great. You have provided a comprehensive and detailed tactical plan as only you could do :) But I believe what we need is a strategic plan with a clear understanding of what are the goals and expectations. If the true will is there then I strongly believe the menace of MQM could be easily handled if Altaf Hussain is neutralized. Once you take the head of the organization away (I think he is the biggest reason that MQM could never transform itself from the politics of violence and intimidation - he is pegging them back in the last century). Once you take him out of the equation then the rest will run around like chickens with their heads cut off. This is just the way things are with us. All these people who AH mentioned in his speech (who have used him as money making machine) are shallow, self serving people and will either fly overseas or will try to join other organization to provide them cover. With these artificial and state created or sponsored organizations don't last long if you cut their funding and change the music sheet that they are supposed to sing from. They are standing not on their two feet rather need crutches of all sort to maintain their power and hegemony. You just kick those crutches away for a little bit and they will come crumbling down - faster than you think. No need for a big operation of loss of life. Contrary to what some may say MQM did have a very large support base. They did hold huge public gathering in mid to late 80's but then started to drift away or rather stick to their real agenda. The problem is that we have allowed AH to escape to a far away land where his paymasters have provided a safe haven to create mayhem at will in urband Sindh and then we wonder why can't we control the menace of MQM. The answer is simple - if you want peace in Karachi then you have to get AH out of the equation (I don't mean physically since we can't bear another shaheed).

M.Q.M. BREATHING ITS LAST. Since 1985 M.Q.M. was keeping its fake mandate due to following factors; 1: Gun point / harrassment / threats / black mailing and remaining in power to protect its criminals. 2: M.Q.M.s muscle power is armed to the teeth with NATO, INDIA / MI6 and CIA for their nefarious designs against Pakistan. Zulfiqar Mirza has exposed it on quran e pak. 3: The syllabus of M.Q.M. is written by the same author who wrote Awwami league's syllabus. most chapters are the same with very little adjustments. 4: M.Q.M.s real popularity has eroded with the passage of time because it failed to give any relief to its traditional ' urdu speaking " voters. The unabated murder spree in karachi has affected its vote bank as much as to others. 5: M.Q.M. goons have not spared even its traditional voters as far as ' Bhatta " is concerned. I personally know a lot of Urdu speaking people who have been subjected to M.Q.M.s dirty tactics just as rest of the communities. 6: The advantage which sustained M.Q.M.s " mandate " was that there was no hope left for the people of karachi to look upon because other parties such as A.N.P. / J.I / and other religious parties also indulged in the same dirty stuff with armed wings, qabza mafia , bhatta mafia. 7: The karachites are politically the most sensitive, knowledgeable and well informed people. They were keenly and impatiently waiting for an alternate platform which had a spotless past and a forward looking futuristic approach. 8: The most surprising factor which emerged from the recent elections is P.T.I., despite all kind of traditional rigging, completly loyal police and polling staff, P.T.I. surfaced as the first potential threat to M.Q.M.s monoply over Karachi mandate, and that too without any major election campaign due to only 3 weeks time provided by the Muk Muka group. 9: Imran Khan held only one big jalsa in karachi as his Ist May Jalsa was cancelled due to serious security threats. Had Imran Khan done a little more work in Karachi, he could have swept away M.Q.M. from the political arena. 10: People of Karachi, specially youth ( named burger group by frustrated M.Q.M. ) have shown the way forward to each and every citizen of Karachi in particular and Pakistan in General and deserve all credit for turning around the political scene by their courage, passion, consistency and faith in their leadership. 11: P.T.I. should give first priority to the people of Karachi who are desperately looking for the lost glory back to its traditional " Aroosul Bilad " status. Karachi had the potential to surpass Dubai and other developed port cities in the world, provide there is peace in the city and an honest leadership. 12: In my final analysis time for a real change in Karachi has arrived despite the fake mandate of M.Q.M. which they can nullify in forthcoming local body elections. ALL THE BEST TO BRAVE KARACHITES AND P.T.I.

I think u should watch talats review over elections.. I believe he is the only one who understands pakistani politics, rest of the anchors and columnist they just flow with the wind. I have been following him when he started live with talat. Since then I believe he speaks with proper home work. Well imran khan missed his train during ticketing process. Rigging cant be taken as an excuse. There are only 25 seats where Imran khan has reservations otherwise rest of the electoral seats are ok. So here talat says respect the mendet of general public. Politics of respect should prevail in our country.

i do not think the problem is altaf hussain. problem is how can such fools and idiots become our leaders and remain our will makers. We know in our guts that these leaders have no interest in our well being but still we choose them, we remain scared of them and they keep screwing us in every possible way. And i can bet, No government will help us to get rid of him or people like him. This is our own job to kick them out of our system. Nice change is being seen now from PTI workers to raise a voice against Altaf hussain. Hope karachi will be someday freed from the claws of this freak.
